To make the head: (use a st marker)
Ch2
Row 1. wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 1sc in each st.
Row 3. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Rows 4-6. 1sc in each st around.
Row 7. 1sc in the 1st, 2sc in the next, all the way around-18sts.
Row 8. 1sc in each st-18sts.
Row 9. 1sc in the next 2sts, 2sc in the next st, around-24sts.
Row 10. 1sc in each st around.
Row 11. 1sc in the next 3sts, 2sc in the next, around-30sts.
Row 12. 1sc in each st around.
Row 13. 1sc in 4sts, 2sc in the next st, around-36sts.

Put eyes in place in the 10th or 11th row.

To make the ears: (make 2 in pink, 2 in grey)

Row 4. 1sc, 2sc in the next st, around-24sts.
Put the 2 pieces together with the wrong sides facing each other and the pink side facing you.
Row 5. With grey yarn wk 1sc in each st, around, join with a sl st and ch1, wk 1sc in the
joining st.
Row 6. 1sc in 6sts, 2hdc in 12sts, 1sc in 6sts and FO.
To make the nose:
Ch2
Row 1. wk 6sc in the 2nd st from hook.
Rows 2-3. Repeat row 1 and FO.
Sew to the tip of the nose on the face.
To make the body:
Ch12 & join
Rows 1-2. wk 1sc in each st, around.
Row 3. wk 1sc in the 1st st, 2sc in the next st around-18sts.
Rows 4-6. 1sc in each st, around.
Row 7. 1sc in the next 2sts, 2sc in the next, around-24sts.
Rows 8-9. 1sc in each st around-24sts.
Row 10. 1sc in 3sts, 2sc in the next, around-30sts.

To make the tail: with a D hook
Ch2

Repeat row 2 until the tail measures about 8 to 9 inches long and FO.
To make the bow:
Ch5
Row 1. 1sc in 4sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. Repeat row 1
Row 3. dec1, dec1, ch1 & turn.
Row 4. 2sc in the next 2sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 5. 1sc in each st and FO.
To make the middle piece that wraps around the bow.
Ch5, 1sc in 4sts, and FO.
Sew the middle piece pulling it tightly around bow.
Sew it to the tail.
To make the arms: (make 2)
Ch2
Row 1. wk 5sc in the 2nd ch from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-10sts.
Rows 3-19. 1sc in each st around.
Lightly stuff arms as you go.
Row 17. 2hdc in next 2sts, 1sc in 8sts.
Row 18. 1sc in 12sts.
Row 19. 1sc dec 2x, 1sc in 8sts.
Row 20. 1sc in 10sts.
Lightly stuff hand.
Row 21. dec sts and close, FO.
To make feet and legs: (make 2) if making a shoe use black yarn.
Ch2
Row 1. wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st around18sts.
Row 4. 1sc, 2sc in the next st, around-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in the FLO-24sts.
Rows 6-8. 1sc in each st around.
Row 9. dec1 8x, 1sc in the 8sts.
Row 10. 1sc in each st around.
Row 11. dec1 4x, 1sc in 8sts.
Row 12. 1sc in FLO in 4sts, 1sc in 8sts.
Change to white yarn for 3 rows to make the socks.
Stuff foot and continue to stuff leg as you go.
Row 13. 1sc in 12sts around.
Rows 14-34. 1sc in 12sts.
If you want to put socks on
If you want the mouse to stand and sit do it this way, wk 1sc in 5sts through both sides of leg.
Ch1 & turn, repeat 2x and FO. Sew in place on the bottom of the body.
If you just want it to sit then sew the legs to the sides of the body.
To make the mouse with the clothes on.
With red or the color of choice.
Repeat rows 1-12 of the body, change back to light grey and continue to make the rest of
the body, stuff and FO.
To make the sleeves (make 2)
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the second st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around.
Rows 3-5. 1sc in each st around.
Row 6. Ch2, wk 3dc in each st around and FO.
Place arm up inside and sew in place and then sew to sides of the body.
To make the skirt attach white yarn or color of choice, right underneath the red sts.
Wk 1sc all the way around, join and ch3, wk 3dc in each st around.
Change to black and wk 1dc in each st around. Repeat for six more rows and FO.
To make the small belt around the waist: make a ch just big enough to go around the waist and FO. Sew in place.
To make the red collar around the neck: ch21, wk 3dc in each ch st and FO.
To make the pink collar: ch21, wk 3dc in each st, ch2 & turn. Wk 1dc in each st around.
To make the pink ruffle around the wrist use a D hook.
Make a chain long enough to go around the wrist and wk 3dc in each st around and FO. Sew one on each wrist.
To make the backpack/purse
Ch13 to make the back pane
Row 1. 1sc in 12sts, ch1 & turn.
Rows 2-10. Repeat row 1, ch1 & turn.
Row 11. wk 1sc in the BLO, ch1 & turn12sts.
Row 12. dec1, 1sc in 7sts, dec1, ch1 & turn-10sts.
Row 13. dec1, 1sc in 6sts, dec1, ch1 & turn.
Row 14. 1sc in each st.
Row 15. dec1, 1sc in 4sts, dec1, ch1 & turn.
Row 16. 1sc in 6sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 17. dec1, 1sc in 2, dec1, ch1 & turn-4sts.
Row 18. 1sc in 4sts.
Row 19. dec1, dec1, ch1, wk 1sc in each st around, (ch1 when going around the corners) the entire bag and FO.
To make the front panel:
Repeat rows 1-10 of the back panel
Row 11. Ch1 and wk 1sc in each st around the 3 sides. Ch1, wk 1sc in the BLO in 8sts,
dec1 in each corner. Repeat for the other corner.
Sl st both pieces inside out together on all 3 sides. Turn it right side out and FO. Wk 1sc in each st around the flap with an enhancing color. Sew a cute button or charm to the front and run some yarn through the front as a closure. If making the purse make a ch of
32 with the two colors together and sew onto the sides of bag.
To make the straps: (make 2)
Ch21
Wk 1hdc in each st across and FO. Sew both straps to the back.
