Magic Ring:
Notes for following my patterns:
** Work in spirals. Do not join, slip stitch or turn unless otherwise stated in the pattern.
** Use a stitch marker in the beginning of each round. This will help to mark the first stitch of every round.
** Alternative for stitch marker: You can use different colored yarn for stitch markers too. Just place it into the first stitch of every row/round as you go.
** Alternative for magic ring: Make chain 2. Work 6sc in first chain.
** Yarn suggestions: If you can not find the same yarn, you can buy a different brand of yarn. It must be anti-pilling yarn. Yarn size will depend on your hook size.

Close the Hole:
Using your yarn needle, weave in only on the outer loops of the remaining 6 single crochets.
Weave in from out to in. As you are weaving, do not pull the yarn too tightly. After weaving the yarn needle through all 6 single crochets, pull the yarn tight to close up the hole, as seen in the pictures above. See how the hole just amazingly disappeared.
Next, insert the yarn needle through the middle of your work and pull out the yarn from another random end.
Pull the yarn out from another end and cut off the left over yarn:
White part of the eyes

Start with ch8
Round 1: start in second chain from hook, 2sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, 2sc in next ch, turn the work to continue along the opposite side of the beginning ch, sc in each of next 5 sts [14]

Leave the thread 25 cm long and cut. Close the opening and finish off securing the yarn.
Insert the eyes into the holes made in the 5th round (do not fix the plastic washers on the back of the eyes):

Divide the main thread into 2 parts. Crochet in 2 threads. The length of the gray thread is about 2.5 meters.
To separate the strands (the way I was taught to do it):
1. Cut a piece of floss & separate 2 strands (easiest if you pull two out about 2″ or 3″ from the end:
2. Hold the strands you’re separating between your thumb & forefinger and the rest of the strands between your ring finger & pinkie of your left hand:
3. Place the end of the floss loosely in your right hand as shown with your forefinger between the separated strands:
4. Pull your finger down gently to separate the strands. If the end at the bottom tangles (it will naturally twirl around) don’t let go with your left hand unless it’s just to move closer to the point where the strands meet & simply run the fingers of your right hand down it to straighten & smooth it. Then continue as before.

Attach the safety eyes in holes made in the 13th round. Sew the white part of the eye (around the perimeter) to the head.
Sew a beak as shown in the photo below.:
Stuff the head with fiberfill.
