Amigurumi Reindeer Free Pattern
This pattern is written using US terminology and is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. If Chestnut is made using the materials described, he will be about 21 cm (8.3 inches) tall.

- Chain (ch): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through loop and hook.
- Decrease (dec): Insert hook into front loop of first stitch, repeat into front loop of next stitch. Yarn over and pull loop through both loops on hook.
- Double crochet (dc): Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch (there should be 3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both loops left on hook (there should be 2 loops left on hook), yarn over, pull loop through remaining loop on hook.
- Increase (inc): Work two single crochets into the same stitch.
- Single crochet (sc): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch (there should be 2 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both loops on hook.
- Slip stitch (sl st): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch and loop on hook.

Stuff the head with polyester fiberfill and continue adding stuffing as the work progresses.

After round 32, thread the tail through a needle. Weave the needle through the front loop of each of the 6 sts, always going in the direction from the centre and under the front loop. Pull the yarn tail and the hole should close.
Insert the needle throug the middle of the hole and pull through the head.
Fasten off and weave the end in.
Stitch the nose with black cotton yarn.
LEGS AND BODY
Legs and body are made in one piece.
Start with brown yarn.
1: Start 6sc in a magic ring [6]
2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]

4-5: Sc in each st around [15]
Change to beige yarn.
6-10: Sc in each st around [15]
Bind off the first leg. Leave a yarn tail about 20 cm long and cut the yarn. Put it aside until you prepare the second one by repeating rounds 1-10.
Important! Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the second leg, we will continue with connecting the legs.

Now join the legs together. Continuing with the second leg.
11: Sc in each of next 15 sts, ch 10. Continue around the first leg (starting with the first st in what would have been the next round).
Sc in the each of next 15 sts, ch 10. You have now made 50 sts (15 sc + 10 ch + 15 sc + 10 ch). The piece is still open, but will be joined to a round with the first stitch of the next round.
A hole will remain between the legs, but don’t worry, we will close that later on!

Close the hole between the legs using the yarn tail left for the first leg. Stuff the legs with polyester fiberfill.

Made in one piece.
With brown yarn.
1: Start 6sc in a magic ring [6]
2-4: Sc in each st around [6]
Bind off the first piece. Leave a yarn tail about 10 cm long and cut the yarn.
Put it aside until you prepare the second and the third piece by repeating rounds 1-4. Important! Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the third piece, we will continue with connecting the pieces.
Now join two pieces together (take one of the pieces you put aside).
Continuing with the third piece.
5: Sc in each of next 6 sts
Continue around the other piece (starting with the first st in what would have been the next round).
Sc in the each of next 6 sts. You have now made 12 sts (6 sc + 6 sc). The
piece is still open, but will be joined to a round with the first stitch of the next round.
