Further knitting is divided as follows: 42 sc (trouser leg), 3 sc, 42 sc (trouser leg), 3 sc. Count back 42 sc and join into a circle using sl-st. Continue knitting on 42 loops.

Rows 16-25. 42 sc (10 rows)

Fasten the thread and cut it, hide the end of the thread.

Return to the beginning of knitting the legs, count from the first 3 sc (this will be the distance between them), join the thread, leaving the tip about 15 cm. Count 42 sc, use sl-st to join in a circle and knit in the same way. Use the remaining end of the thread to sew up the gap between the legs.

Straps. Knit two pieces. Cast on a chain of 23 ch, 5 loops from hook 19 hdc. Fasten the thread and cut it, leaving a long tip for sewing.

Sew the straps to the pants, and sew the buttons on the front.

Pocket:

Knit in turning rows, starting each row with 1 ch of lifting. Cast on a chain of 11 ch, knit from the second loop from the hook.

Rows 1-8: 10 sc (8 rows)

Tie all sides of the pocket sc, fasten and cut the thread, leaving a long tip for sewing. Sew a pocket on the side of the pants.
